About sections are always a bit of a challenge. How could I ever tell you everything there is to know about me? I love music and theatre. I wish the mindsets of people in our country were more in tune with the way people I know in theatre think: Acceptance, joy, a passion for making people feel things—good things.

The art I make is often more than not an exploration of my past intersecting with my present. I’m a nostalgic being, and I’ll never not find ties of myself now to that little girl with two sisters raised in upstate New York. Subsequently, I find myself drawn to coming of age stories. I feel these stories are always relevant ones because they reveal the uglier and imperfect shades of life. Everyone has their ugly memories of life, and I find them quite beautiful stories to tell. It is imperative that the performance industry does not become a solely picture-perfect world, I prefer the raw and flawed.
